At least spit on it and give me a cigarette before you take another 2 trillion from us.

SteelDriver 152 points ago +153 / -1

Hey, they're "giving" you $1400. You should be happy. (/sarcasm)

(Note: I would recommend everyone offered take the fucking money because it's all any of us not in the "secret cabal" are going to get :(. Save it wisely.)

AmericanJawa 159 points ago +161 / -2

Yes, $1400, and amount that will be worth $700, $140, $14 in the coming years as the Government continues to throw money around like it's going out of style and drive inflation all the way to Alpha Centauri.

Won't even have the commie dollars to burn, it's all just '0's on a computer.

If you had put your $1800 stimulus in Bitcoin it would currently be worth $10,253

Yup. DO NOT keep money in the bank! Not savings at least.

With the way democrats want to artificially raise wages and cost of living, your savings will depreciate greatly in value.

I feel bad for those who saved $ their whole lives, just to see the possibility of their savings dip 50% in value over a single idea from Democrays.

As you said, invest in things that gain value along side inflation.

Gold and silver are good in my book. I think real estate is better, because let's say shit hits the fan.

Well, gold isn't too useful if the world fucks itself, is war torn, and all people want is a sack of rice, water, and ammunition.

That's where real estate is good, because EVERYONE needs a place to live!

Ammunition will be better than gold if shit happens.

Hell, those who invested in ammunition the past decade could sell for 5x+ what they paid a few years back!

I'm still buying at these insane prices, as I was not a customer before all this. The riots and mass violence scared me, as it was local to me in NY.

I drove down the street during some of our riots and looting, and saw mass looting first hand about 2 miles from my house.

My town borders a shit hole city. The town police kept out town completely safe and held it down! The city? Nope.

Although, even though we have a shit mayor, she accepted mass help from state police for the next night, and I drove through the city...

It was crazy! The quietest I've ever seen it in summer, quieter than when we have a true snow storm blizzard that's too dangerous to drive in!

Cops everywhere hiding, stationed every half mile with sirens flashing.

Hundreds of businesses blocked with vehicles, big rigs, ect. It was wild to see!

But all of that really showed me how quickly your life can be put in danger by randoms.

I had big Trump flags in front of my house on a busy main road in liberal NY.

Got tonssss of harassment. I took them down for the week during riots, as I didn't want to be an obvious target.

I put em back up afterword.

I even had a BLM cunt come to my house, and march in front back and fourth. Went out to yell at her, call the cops, ect.

She didn't break the law, but fuck that, she's coming to push my buttons.

If civil war happened, that shit would not be tolerated. They do things like this because they aren't afraid of us, and know we are peace loving people, who are not crazy, and will not hurt them for pushing our buttons.

can't eat gold. keep that in mind.

RabidZoo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or rice and beans. That shit will be just as expensive as gold when everyone is starving to death.

Dump it in GME! I put the last $600 check into AMC and made over 6k on it.

NC_patriot 9 points ago +9 / -0

Nice!

NomadicKrow2 9 points ago +9 / -0

I wish I could dump it in GME. I just don't trust the market. I'm down 200 bucks on MVIS because the entire market is tanking. Nibkdy has faith in Joe. Meanwhile, China's market is booming.

CLE_BROWNS_32 3 points ago +3 / -0

Check out OCGN as well. Take advantage of the Left’s illogical fear of the virus and $20 billion in vaccine funding.

Weird that liberal states and or governors are opening right before this bill passes and people get money all at the same time.

Scalpers are going nuts.

We're going to start feeling the shutdown effects as a lot of cash starts chasing fewer goods...

We'll see if it its a quick or slow inflation...

Milkpowder44 1 point ago +1 / -0

Just drop it all on GME and multiply it

Projectedsoulimage 18 points ago +20 / -2

If the government is willing to give you your own money back then take it. Can't believe people were saying not to take the first round of Covid relief

10
NomadicKrow2 10 points ago +10 / -0

The people who hate Trump, i encouraged them to send the checks back. Fuck 'em. The man tried to help and they kept shitting on him.

8
unashamed 8 points ago +8 / -0

Exactly! If they hated Trump, then they should stop enjoying his tax cuts. They’re free to continuing paying the difference to the IS Treasury.

9
Farnsworth 9 points ago +10 / -1

Agreed! As long as the government can afford to give billions to other countries, I will not complain about them giving us back some of our own money. As soon as they stop squandering our tax dollars, then I’ll start being concerned about our debt.

14
IvotedforTrumptwice 14 points ago +15 / -1

They’re not giving you back the money they stole from you. They’re printing new notes because they already spent everything else.

4
Light_HIV_Effect 4 points ago +4 / -0

People were taking the money, but mad (seriously) that Trump was cutting payroll taxes last year to try and help with covid relief since congress wasn't moving on the 2k Trump wanted to send out.

Once you cash that check, your household becomes federally funded. And the government now owns your ass. Too bad I cashed the first one without thinking about it that way.

30
GuyOnABuffalo 30 points ago +31 / -1

And if you don’t cash it they still own you.

Use it to buy an AR.

15
Projectedsoulimage 15 points ago +16 / -1

How does cashing it mean the gov owns my ass? They take my money away. I'll take it back before they send it overseas or spend it on Dem cities.

The fed takes my money. Does that mean I own their ass?

I'm not following your logic.

In the case of taxation, a man’s surrender to the threat of coercion demonstrates no voluntary preference whatsoever for any alleged benefits he receives.

― Murray N. Rothbard

If you pay taxes, taking this money is just taking a very small portion of the amount extorted from you back.

You shouldn't feel bad about it.

The welfare state is the oldest con game in the world. First you take people's money away quietly and then you give some of it back to them flamboyantly.

― Thomas Sowell

victory2024 13 points ago +13 / -0

If it's like the last "stimulus", you don't even get the $1500 if you've been working hard enough to earn more than the income cut off. But a homeless drug addict gets the full $1500.

5
NullifyAndSecede 5 points ago +5 / -0

They have lowered the income cutoff this round as well.

3
NomadicKrow2 3 points ago +4 / -1

They are competent enough to "target" the income brackets they want to give money to. But Joe says he doesn't want high earners to get student loan relief so he won't do anything in that regard. Joe, are you too fucking stupid to target student loan relief like the stimmy? He can't even do what his fucking party wants. What a loser.

Don't forget your body armor. I picked up a plate carrier and level III plates this round.

Any recommendations for a first time buyer of armor?

They're not taking money from anyone.

What they're doing is devaluing the dollar, increasing inflation, and mortgaging the future because why the fuck not

You are a special KIND of retard .

Sure you are ... THEY ARE TAKING MONEY ... They are taking it from everyone. THROUGH INFLATION.

7
ChuckedBeef 7 points ago +7 / -0

Here's a loan we're going to force you to take. What's that you say? You aren't taking the stimulus? Well you still get to pay for it anyway, and your kids, and their kids, and their kids too. You ALL get to pay for this.

3
Crisis83 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yup, considering the labor force size and only half really pay taxes, the first round of stimulus cost us $24k, the next one will be about the same.
I’m almost convinced they (both parties) are trying to dig a deep enough debt hole so they can justify federal value added tax. Not only would this punish the poor the most, it takes away from everyones buying power and gives the swamp another trillion or 2 to buy favors from foreign countries and line their own pockets
