Literally a waste of money to bail out failing states. Lets reward the states who have the highest crimes and highest unemployment.

You could fit all of what those people don't know into the pacific ocean and it would finally sink Manhattan.

God willing, I sure hope so. Ever seen that movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang? I love this quote from it:

"I swear to God, it's like somebody took America by the East Coast, and shook it, and all the normal girls managed to hang on."

He's talking about women while at a party in Hollywood, but it fits for everyone else too.

They base that on the federal highway budget

The highways that get red state produce to blue state mouths

It also doesn't factor in welfare payouts, federal education funding, mass transit funding, government agency real estate, science funding, etc.

Cities receive way more money from the feds than rural states.

Very good to know, I wasn't sure what they based their argument on but I figured it was something they'd twist like that. Ty!

Bailouts are a big reason why dems were desperate enough to cheat so blatantly. They couldn't let trump win and have blue states go bankrupt. California never even tried to get their finances in order. They knew the fix was in from the beginning and officially set their budget assuming a bailout after the election. The only way for red states to stop paying for blue state failures is secession. Otherwise it's going to be constant bailouts forever.

I used to be VERY against living off of the system if it isn't absolute need.

Like, if you can work 60+ hours at McDonald's, I'd do that before going on the system.

Well, being in NYS, I had a change of heart. I hate where I live. I have no moral issue in n my head anymore to use the system lawfully to help myself out in life.

I don't lie to them at all. Work was very slow for me during corona stuff. But years ago, I would've found a way to do it alone, as that's what a MAN does!

I lost all respect for my state, and figure if they are gonna hand shit out, I might as well take it.

The problem is that your blue state doesn't have the money to pay you, despite offering it. They give you money and then cry to the federal government that they are bankrupt and red states end up subsidizing you through bailouts.

Yup. It's all a load of BS. As Ron Desantis said, bail outs should be fair, and based solely on population in this case.

Blue states did stupid shit, red states not so much, and because the blue states allowed billions in damage and economic failure, they get the most help? Bullshit!

Nothing wrong with using the system appropriately. My father works seasonally and is on unemployment in the off-season. I used it once I got out of the military while I went to school. While I don't agree with the way we do societal safety net, if it's there and you really need the help it doesn't make you bad.

You cannot make a successful life for yourself living on government wages.

These wouldn't be the states that let the election fraud occur?
