The age old question. I would feel better knowing they're corrupt and know it's bad for the country. I'd feel worse if they're all true believers and too stupid to know it's hurting, because that's harder to fix.
Saw Gingrich on TV last week saying that he thinks the Democrats are doing such crazy shit now is because they know they are going to lose the House in 2022 and very likely the presidency in '24. He said the sort of shit they are trying to pass now would never get them reelected as it's too far to the left.
