This is pretty naive honestly. Gold only holds value if people agree that it does, just like money. If there is a totally de valued dollar your crypto will be worth jack too.
Especially in case of an EMP attack or infrastructure breakdown that holds the proof of even holding crypto.

Gold does have worth as a metal with tons of uses. That definitely gives it some value, plus the supply cannot be increased on the whim of a government so it is harder to devalue.
