Time for a re-run of my favorite story.

My Sis is a medical doctor. On Christmas Day, she came out of the back room upset that one of her staff had just "tested positive" and had to quarantine for 2 weeks.

I suggested she get a 2nd test to confirm the 1st.

Sis looks me straight in the eye and says: "There's no such thing as a false positive PCR test".

Since I have done some work in the medical testing field, I'm aware that ALL tests have false positives. It's an imprecise science. 99.8% is considered the Gold Standard.

I'm also smart enough to realize that if 40 cycles give you more positives than 35 cycles does, you've got an accuracy problem.

I didn't say a word, because it would have ruined Christmas.

11 days later, the CDC released its report about needing to lower the cycle threshold for tests going forward for the exact reasons I've stated. I sent that article to Sis.......and haven't heard from her since.

They've perverted almost all sciences with this fake woke BS and the perversion of goal seeking studies. You get paid the find the politically popular result.

I have done PCR tests for decades. There is very much a thing as a false positive PCR test, especially with rapid testing. That's why I run more than one on the same patient. Takes awhile, but it's worth it.

Heck, you get different results at different labs.
