There is very much a thing as a false positive PCR test, especially with rapid testing. That's why I run more than one on the same patient. I have done PCR tests for decades. There is very much a thing as a false positive PCR test, especially with rapid testing. That's why I run more than one on the same patient. Takes awhile, but it's worth it.
