I think it's a return to the fundamentals that matter and away from all of the pressures that our warped society tries to shove down our throats. I'm still at the early stages of understanding true spiritual freedom, having just recently thrown off the shackles.

Yes, it's been a rough year. I spent more time alone than anyone I know the past year and I barely made it through. A few good friends, my dog, family, and my stubbornness got me through. Well, meeting the based conservative lady hamster a week before lockdowns was probably the biggest factor. We just texted for about 5 months, but she was a godsend.
Hang in there. If you're on this site, you've already passed the hardest tests. Knowing the truth can be hard, but you've already tossed off your shackles. You are free, and that matters.
It gets better, and the end of this movie is glorious if we have the willpower to collectively see it through.
Until you realize there's a new virus twice every decade and the reaction to the next unknown virus will be preemptive and we'll be back wearing masks till it's fixed.
i'll never forget the demoralization. it's been horrible. I feel like I'll never be given my normal life back again.
I used to feel that way but I've recently reached the other side. I do not want my old life back. I'm ready for what comes next.

I encourage you to change your basic outlook. No one will give you back your normal life. You have to create the life and the lifestyle you want.
