A lot of the political decline in the US is traceable to the lowering of the voting age from 21 to 18. We urgently need to go in the opposite direction. I'd support 35.

I would also support a maximum voting age of 70 or 75. A maximum age would eliminate the vast majority of votes fraudulently cast on behalf of dementia-impaired and dead registered voters, as well as votes legitimately cast by confused elderly voters who just can't keep track of information any more and therefore don't really understand who or what they're voting for. Those above the cutoff age who still have their wits about them could still influence the voting choices of age-eligible voters through in-person and online discussion, volunteering for candidates' campaigns, and other avenues.
