I uninstalled avast, problem solved.

I also told them the reason I was uninstalling was because they blocked patriots.win so at least they know why I will never use their service again.

Just open Avast and click on Menu > Settings > General > Exceptions. Then click on "Add Exception" and type in "https://patriots.win/". You're now good to go!

Too late, uninstalled.

Same here. First, the warning sounds would randomly pop up when I click the Back button. Then it eventually straight up blocked me from visiting this page. This was labelled a "phishing site".

So the non-binary tech support dweebs put this policy in place and now Avast will have to live this one down AND lose about half their business. If that policy came from the top then fine, serves them right! Lots of other good AV out there! Glad they outed themselves so we know they're big on censorship!

They need us more than we need them. They chose poorly.

Mine built slowly, at first it just hiccupped when I clicked the seal, but today it would not load at all. I looked in avast and could not find any place to turn it off anymore and that was the final straw for me.
