I live close to Portland and I do this often. I overly exaggerate their viewpoints, like "$15 an hour? No way, we deserve $30 an hour!" and watch them redpill themselves as they begin to use rightwing logic to explain why that's a bad idea. It's not perfect, but when these people are blind to actual facts sometimes it helps if you show them how idiotic their beliefs are.
