I've been reading so many of the posts there. I think a lot of these NPCs are literally autistic preteens. There are some that just rage, and some that are actually trying to understand but are unable to process what they're being told. Neither group shows any sign of being able to comprehend irony that's right in front of their faces.
If it was just one or two idiots, that would be one thing. But there are tons of them. Same programming, operating in one of two modes: Confused or Angry.
There is a HUGE coincidence of autism spectrum disorders and transgenderism. Mentally deficient adults taking advantage of mentally deficient children.
Like when "Islam is right about women" posters were all the rage. I remember video from a local TV station and the NPC'er was literally BSOD'd trying to comprehend what she was seeing.
I dunno. I kinda died inside when I saw that. It's like a sign that all hope for society is already dead. We didn't stop the speeding train in time. Instead, we're already a 100 ft over the edge of the cliff and there's no turning back.

NPCs lack the ability to grasp any perspective other than those they've been programmed to understand. Self-reflection is foreign.
