Actually.... A property's market value is based on the price you would likely be able to obtain if you were selling. I doubt very much you could find a buyer who would pay 7-trillion for that shit hole. 10 years of conservative governing might be able rehabilitate the property.
That's why we have to break it apart.
Maybe Japan would like to use Southern Cal as a territory? They have an aging crisis so millions of young, cheap illegals not capable of crossing the Pacific sounds like a good deal.
Eastern California is kinda cool, maybe we can just cut the coastal cities adrift?
