Defender is quite a solid product but in reality blocking ads and using an updated security/privacy first browser is going to protect you from basically any blind attack. permalink save report block reply ▲ 1 ▼ – Monsieur_Novembre 1 point 39 days ago +1 / -0 Same here, adding patriots.win as an exception doesn’t work as it blocks authentication.win/sso?com=TheDonald&dest=https://patriots.win permalink save report block reply
No interference from AVG for me. The day it happens, is the day I cancel.
It’s a resource hog anyway.
What should I use?
I’ve just been using windows defender for years now on my personal devices. My company pays for ESET at work.
linux
Just make the site an exception and it bypasses AVG
AVAST did the same thing to me the other day, so I deleted it.
Avast did it to me today, cancelled AVG years ago for blocking my work URL
yes, the last 2 days
Use ESET or Windows Defender. Defender is quite a solid product but in reality blocking ads and using an updated security/privacy first browser is going to protect you from basically any blind attack.
