The way I see it, for all forms of life, the only goal is to reproduce. That is the purpose of life, to keep life going for future generations. Being straight it part of it, you want to reproduce to keep it going. Being bi is also fine, sure you like to have fun with the same gender, but you still like the other gender to keep life going, because being attracted to another gender is what I would call pure instinct.
Being gay or trans is just mental illness. You will not reproduce being this way.
