If one is not allowed to add to the conversation, and only stick to the views or statements allowed, then there is no debate, and ideas cannot flourish in censorship. Be they good or bad. The only way to defeat a bad idea is with a good one. You cannot control the human mind, but you can try to convince it to change its ideas. A person that is afraid of free speech, in it's TRUE, and unrestricted form, is afraid of being proven wrong because they have no original counter thought or are not fully convinced in even their own arguement.
