Either that, or authentication is actually infected with phishing and malware. I'm more willing to bet they decided that they are just trying to include this is a danger site, because thats their best way off fighting it. I had to go in and create about 2 dozen exceptions before it would even let the site load again.
Might be time to look for a different antivirus. Then again, there were warnings about authentication being hijacked, but I can't seem to find any of those posts. Help?
I got rid of Avast several years ago. They kept charging me automatically even when I cancelled. I had to call them twice and chew them out and threaten a lawsuit to make them stop taking money out of my account. They finally gave me a full refund. They are a really corrupt company.
I've only ever used their free version, but I can feel your pain. Some companies are really the worst when you try to stop their services.
