Root of their argument is that trans women were always truly women on the inside though despite only having recently actually transitioned. I guess countering that though, the word "transition" means "process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another". So by it's own definition it's the "process or a period of changing from the male/female state or condition to the female/male state or condition.
