Alright lets be clear. Islam does not promote sex with children. It permits it but generally doesn't practice it except in some backwards areas like Yemen. Other religions like Judaism does in fact promote early marriages, at about age 13-14, which is when the girl has her Bat Mitzvah and is considered a woman by semitic law. It is still legal in NJ and I think NY and a few other states specifically for Jews. Age 13 was chosen for a number of reasons, most of which are not really relevant today.
As for slaves in Islam, they do still have those in the Gulf and other places. But thats not the point, the point is judging morals from 1500-3000 years ago with modern American values is invalid. I don't believe Muhammad raped slaves but I guess thats up for debate.

Your argument is fundamentally flawed. The quran said to follow and struggle to be like Muhammad, but Muhammad is a human and therefore flawed. He himself admits it. In fact the reason he married the young wife is because his first wife was much older, and reflected in him his mother, which he realized was a mistake. The prophet is fallible.
