Why would they keep him around though? There was a benefit to keeping RBG during the Trump years. She was supposed to retire during Obama so they could replace her but she herself refused. The line of succession for them if they remove Biden is all in their favor. PLUS since Kamala didn't get elected as President she can be a three-termer.
I was joking more than anything. Even in a completely reduced capacity there's no way Biden could physically withstand another campaign run in 4 years. I'm sure they'll be able to limp him along for the remainder of this term, but the Democrats have a real problem on their hands in 2024 when it comes to finding a candidate with electability, especially if Trump decides to run again. Biden at least had brand recognition - Kamala is just horrendous and disliked by just about everyone. But this is all hypothetical, and completely dependent on whether or not people start waking up and demanding voter integrity at the local and state level, otherwise the Democrats could run a ham sandwich for office and still win.
