Shame them. Shame these ideas publicly, and make the people who push them a laughingstock. Twitter can ban 2 or 5 or 10 of us, but not 60 or 80 thousand. Reddit can't shut down every thread. YouTube can't disable comments on every video.
We can't stay in our bubble. If you see someone speaking sense on these platforms and catching hell for it, support them. I've gone back to Reddit for this very reason. I was going to just kill my account and leave but you know what? If we are the voice of reason, we need to be using that voice.
