Even if these populations were not reverting to their natural state. The ones who really don’t want to live like that get out. I had a native friend who’s dad used all the free education to become a dentist and didn’t move back to the reservation. Similar with talented tenth blacks. Their genes self select out of these places. As generations go by, the only genes that are left are people who can be comfortable with it. It will never change now.

And society pays for those people to just live like that… if we stopped paying, they would be forced to actually be productive, that’s what America was founded on btw.

You are missing what I’m saying. I’m saying even if you stop paying, they won’t change. Things will get worse there, and the population will decline until the area reaches a more natural carrying capacity. When the British found the Australian Abos they just lived on nothing in total squalor. Eating lizards and whatever. The land always could support a productive people, it was the existing people who were unable to be productive.
