Why is this community so mean to trans and gay folk? Whenever I try to extol the awesomeness of this site, anyone who knows anything about this site can counter me with the homophobia/transphobia and I have no valid response. Isn’t it possible to call out the transgressions of trans hypocrisies without being mean about it?

(For context, I have based gay relatives and this type or rhetoric keeps them away from this site)
