They need 60 votes for it to pass. They won't get it. At least with the way the bill is written. It wouldn't surprise anyone if it's changed a little bit and the rinos jump ship and it passes
How can they need 60 for that bill but only 50 for the covid blue state bailout bill that just passed?
I think they used something called "budget reconcilliation", again another thing that no one knows how works, but it has to do with budgets. So anything can be filibustered, but things that deal with budgets can dodge the filibuster using budget reconciliation.
Something to so with how the filibuster is structured. I don't exactly know how it works I'm no expert

I wouldn't rule out someone trying to pull something to get the filibuster dismissed.
Right now, I'm most wary about McConnell trying to do away with it on his way out, possibly as part of a secret deal he may have worked out to protect his wife.
