I think the issue is that our federal government has become a gigantic bureaucracy, which is was never supposed to be.
This is true, and this is what the battle needs to be about. In our history the government has never been as totalitarian as it is today. It's downright silly to have democratic elections, when so much is controlled by politicians and government backed oligarchs that manipulates the social debate and brainwashes the masses using propaganda, manipulating social media and fraudulent search engines. Democracy can't exist without free speech.
