Back in the 90s all those movies like Outbreak and Andromeda Strain, all the zombie virus movies, games, books and TV shows. They were mentally preparing people for forced shutdowns and possible martial law.
Except some of us in TN. We had some tornadoes blow through the state &, especially if you worked downtown, you were off work or working from home. Stores were out of nonperishables, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc., because people were buying them to donate. When our mayor locked us down for the ‘ronas the following week, volunteer clean up & donation efforts took a hit, too.
I've been keeping up with alternative news and youtubers talking about COVID long before the lamestream media did so I knew what was coming and was already prepping when it was still February.
I felt something big moving, like the first bits of snow on top of a mountain just beginning to slip. I felt the avalanche coming, but I didn't know where it was going, or how bad it was really going to be. I went out and bought 3 months worth of food for a family of 4 and started stocking up on ammo. When Tom Wolf shut everything down I was at work. Seething rage swept over me and I remember shouting something like "That weasel-faced duplicitous little emperor-wannabe fuck! Who the hell does he think he is?!" Surprisingly I didn't get fired for that.
Didn't realize 52 weeks would pass and things would have gone this badly.
You knew if you were reading Zero Hedge and other alternative news sources like it. But most people had no idea what was coming.
I realized that millions of my fellow Americans are idiots. We've been straight played. I remember when President Trump called it a hoax. It is.
