No, Kev, that's not what they mean. Kissinger's praise here is spot on. But his track record of advice has lead to China's rise and, like all pre-Trump administrations, total quagmire in the Middle-East. They're just pointing out that his praise is ironic.

The OP was not meant to be a praise of Kissinger. I understand he's done some shitty things, but he's also done a great deal of good for world peace.

I thought he made a great point, and I refuse to cow-tow to the cancel-culture mindset that is growing here.

There's way to much killing the messenger without paying attention to the message.

That's not healthy for rational discourse, and just like my encounters with real lefties on Twitter, their resorting to immediate name-calling and chest thumping is bothersome.

Thanks again for addressing his take on policy. Others could learn from your well-reasoned response.
