44 So I heard avast is blocking Patriots.win now. Haven't been on my desktop in a few days because I'm a working contributing member of society. Woke up to this today. Any way around it? Or should I just find new anti-virus software? I was wondering if it had an impact. How is our data secure using VPNs if the sites can still be blocked. Does anyone reading this know? permalink parent save report block reply ▲ 2 ▼ – ProudFrogManBrother [S] 2 points 38 days ago +2 / -0 I do not. I'm not a tech guy but I assume it's just the anti virus software blocking the url on my end of the network before it can even send out to the web (where my ip and info is protected by the vpn.) permalink parent save report block reply
