Like the article points out, a big part of the problem are plastics. It’s a pain in the ass, but relatively simple to get this shit out of your life (as far as food storage and personal care products go). Inconvenient? Yes, very, depending on how you normally eat. But doable. Sperm and egg quality can be fixed within a year without reproductive assistance.

What we need long-term is a return to glass bottles, alternative packaging and a reduced dependence on plastics in basically every aspect of life. As oil becomes less available, this may happen naturally.

But nothing changes until people start getting pissed about it and altering their habits.
