Friend of mine just got the koof. He's 50 and lives a sedentary life. Lost his smell ant taste for about 30 hours. Slight cold symptoms. That was about it for him.

JudicialDredd 38 points ago +39 / -1

Close one.

24
thisguy883 24 points ago +25 / -1

I had got the Coof and I told my friend that I had a 0.06% chance of dying.

He said he would pray for me.

8
Chachiex 8 points ago +10 / -2

10% chance of dying of vaccine if over 65.

Hmmnn

4
IraqVet91 4 points ago +4 / -0

If that were the case there’s be 7m people dead from the vaccine

Where do you read this shit?

2
247MAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Look up study from Israel. They found their elderly 40 times more likely to die from the covid shot than covid!

Younger people 260 times more likely. This fake vaccine is a mass killer - just wait a year to see the most carnage from them- these immediate deaths are just a bonus

1
IraqVet91 1 point ago +1 / -0

if that were true, again, with the number of people who have gotten the shot, there would be million+ dead people within 48 hours of theshot.

learn math.

alfredbester 1 point ago +1 / -0

A little place we like to call "the internet"

3
Kweebecker 3 points ago +3 / -0

All fairness, prayer on its own has about a 0.06% chance success rate, so basically, he just made you immortal. You should thank him.

1
pente1776 1 point ago +1 / -0

... pray for you to what ? ? ?

Did you owe him money?

Sorry I gendered him.

.... oh shit sorry.

5
CelesteD 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah he could've caved and got the shot :p

2
Kweebecker 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, more than 48 hours with no sense of taste and you run the risk of deciding the eat healthy since you can't taste it anymore. Crisis averted though.

11
ericcart 11 points ago +11 / -0

Ive become skeptical there even is a virus but people frequently talk about losing their smell and taste. What did he say those symptoms were like? I lose my sense of smell when I have a cold/flu (blocked sinuses) and I think if I watched TV and had an osmotic mind I could be convinced I also lost my sense of taste (along with a host of other symptoms). .

12
dakin116 12 points ago +12 / -0

I lose the ability to smell or taste at for at least a week every year from allergies...

6
Pede3 6 points ago +7 / -1

Same. I most likely had the coof last Mar (no testing but multiple coworkers tested pos). First symptom was the worst backache that I've ever had, followed by extreme tiredness. I never lost taste or smell beyond normal allergy level, but had no desire to eat anything.

6
thisguy883 6 points ago +7 / -1

The thing is, some of the medication that doctors give out to treat symptoms causes you to lose your sense of smell and taste.

That was my experience when I had a bad cold and the doctor prescribed me some nasal spray. I couldn't taste or smell anything for a week, except the awful flavor of that medicine.

3
Liberty_Prime 3 points ago +4 / -1

He said things changed. Fresh air smelled like ozone. Tea tasted like burnt wood. Craft beer tasted like water.

It was a general loss of the senses he enjoyed.

4
ericcart 4 points ago +6 / -2

Interesting. Not saying it is, but could it be psychosomatic? I believe well over 15% of people these days lack the physiological self awareness and intellectual self defense to dismiss an authoritative assertion that they have certain symptoms , illnesses, traits etc. If a person gets "covid" and the doctors, relatives, TV, media etc all tell that person its very serious and these are the symptoms, at least 15% will believe they have them and tell people they do. IMO

1
alfredbester 1 point ago +1 / -0

It was this beer wasn't it?

2
worldowedexplanation 2 points ago +2 / -0

I’ve lost my sense of smell and taste twice from the regular flu, it’s a pretty normal occurrence. At the time my doctor was not remotely concerned.

MAGAlikethis 26 points ago +27 / -1

This has nothing to do with the CCP virus.

This is just good general practice.

15
Bluestorm83 15 points ago +17 / -2

Seriously. This is the cure for pretty much everything.

Also? Work Harder. I've been pushing myself like I haven't for years, lately, and I feel fucking fantastic. Fewer aches and pains, I feel less tired, and I appreciate my free time more.

7
MAGAlikethis 7 points ago +10 / -3

Not to mention that's how you accomplish more and that's how you win.

3
Bluestorm83 3 points ago +3 / -0

Damn straight, my man. Made the decision recently; from now on, I get what I want. Used to always put everyone else first. That's a good thing, a noble thing. But to do it ALL the time is a self destructive thing. If I'm happy, I'm more motivated to do for others. If I've got time to do for me and to do for someone else, I'm gonna do for me first, because I'm doing them a fucking favor, if I don't get to it, sorry, but you didn't do it for yourself either.

And I've found that since I've been working to get what I want, I'm actually doing MORE for others. Because I AM getting what I want, first, and then preserving that momentum and plowing through the things that others have asked.

He has Taught me how to Win. Build for myself, and then use my Resources for my Allies. And take no shit from anyone.

1
MAGAlikethis 1 point ago +2 / -1

Well said. People naturally gravitate towards individuals they see taking initiative for themselves and succeeding. Plus, good women are attracted to men who can do for themselves as well.

1
Bluestorm83 1 point ago +1 / -0

Funny you should say that, as I'm positioning myself to steal a good woman from a douche who doesn't appreciate her. Only further preparation I need is to save the Family Business which is APPARENTLY much, much less "my inheritance" as has been insisted upon for the past 10 years, and more "a debt factory because I can't rein in my spending."

Which is a shame, as it makes good money, and the work isn't backbreaking or anything, but you need to stop taking out fucking loans. When you've got a second mortgage and you've repaid 300 dollars of it, but have accrued 3,000 more interest in the same amount of time, I don't care how much money you're making, you need to repay your fucking debts.

But I'm going to do it. I'm going to knuckle down and do this, because I can, and I want to, and I will.

Body in motion, stays in motion.

8
thisguy883 8 points ago +8 / -0

Body at rest, turns into a fat fucking slob that becomes a lefty because it's now unfuckable.

3
Ophelia 3 points ago +3 / -0

becomes a lefty

Becomes a tranny

1
thisguy883 1 point ago +1 / -0

At this point, what's the difference?

1
Bluestorm83 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oy, there, buddy, there's a cross section of fat fucking slobs who are also virgins because they're Christian Men who are right wing as hell. And a smaller cross section who are losing a full third of their body weight and getting in shape now, intent on stealing an incredible woman from the faggot douche who, if gossip is accurate, doesn't appreciate her and seems to be using her.

My Point: Fat and Unfucked does not necessarily mean Unfuckable. Could always mean fighting against past mistakes and a stacked genetic deck, tooth and nail, while also attempting to live as Christ would want.

More than that. I remember you could flip the plastic spools around and make your music play backwards to hear all the backmasking ;)

And also hole punching floppy disks to make them double sided.

And, of course, rubbing alcohol and cotton balls to clean your records.

I even remember reel to reel recording and computer memory storage.

I love cell phones.

I can't imagine how easier my life would have been had I had a smartphone as a teenager.

I envy my daughter because she is growing up with technology that gives you access to unlimited knowledge. She's had a tablet since she was 2. She knows Vietnamese, Spanish, English and can sing songs in Russian and Thai. Vietnamese, she gets from her mom. English she gets from me. Spanish she gets from my mom and the other languages, she learned from watching YouTube videos.

At 4 years old, I'm amazed at how much she knows about everything. When I take her outside, she can point out pretty much everything because she has seen it on her shows. She already knows how to write her name and can identify what letter starts what word just by the sound.

At her school, they will be teaching her Latin as a course requirement all the way until she graduates highschool.

I'm so envious but at the same time, I'm extremely happy and blessed that my daughter will be smarter than I ever was.

The_Viking_Squatch 10 points ago +10 / -0

I haven't carried a cellphone for about 6-ish years, and it's the most interesting study of society I've done. People think something's wrong with you because you don't always have one on you, and people get genuinely mad that you aren't at their beckoning call at all times. It's fucking wild man.

2

What would you say are the benefits you’ve experienced? Less anxiety, etc.?

Cell phones are the modern day cigs

2
The_Viking_Squatch 2 points ago +2 / -0

Privacy. It's all about privacy.

People don't know where I am, what I'm doing or who I'm with. I'm not constantly telling some company where I go regularly.

I have a cellphone and a VOIP sort of deal. It's like having the convenience of texting and calling but off of an old school house phone. If I'm not home you can't reach me. It makes going out actually going out. The people I want to talk to I'm with. I fell like I actually have a private life, while others are simply feigning actual privacy.

It has caused some issues with relationships though. Fucking women always want you up their ass these days. They act like me not carrying a cellphone is admirable and a shirking of the hyper self importance, but freak out when you go 12 or so hours of not texting them or calling them. And fuck that. That's not how I am. I'm 26 with a full-time job. I'll speak to you when I can. It's my timetable not yours.

That last bit was more of a rant though lol.

I'd happily bump my smoking habit to 6 packs a day before carrying a cellphone again.

2
Genericwhitemale 2 points ago +2 / -0

I feel it. I’m your age and I don’t like carrying it everywhere either and could likely survive just fine with one thats just for calls. Don’t like the idea of apps knowing where i’m at all day everyday. Not to mention the unknown issues it likely causes when you go to check it every 2 minutes like a crackhead

EXACTLY! - Zero Hedge (Nov 11, 2020): Pandemics Are Over When The Public Decides They're Over - Government officials have taken it upon themselves to apply an arbitrary bureaucrat-enforced definition of acceptable risk.

https://archive.vn/8LAZb

And quite tellingly, Gov. Newsom of CA is so freaked out about the petition to have him RECALLED, that he just suddenly lifted all restrictions there a week ago! And the petition still has a few more days to go! -

It's amazing to me the difference between my lefty friends and all my other friends. It's like the lefties are living in a different world of fear and hate. It's sad more than anything. The biggest disease is in the mind, propagated by their corporate news outlets.

Hang out at your nearest shops and find excuses just to linger. Find ways to say hello to random people. I have started saying hello to people I meet in public toilets. Trust me, its not creepy at all. When I am drying my hands, thats the perfect time to say hello. Seeing a lot of people start talking in the toilets. Its like its a public space but private enough to start up a conversation. Try it. Smile and be nice to other people. I am autistic, ups only ;)

Plz explain why flu deaths are at a grand total of 0 this year

8
ericcart 8 points ago +8 / -0

The flu shot, social distancing and wearing masks -thats the narrative they are pushing. The truth of course is they took a person with the flu and used a bullshit test to convince them they had covid. If they believed it the fear and anxiety exasperated the symptoms and any other medical condition they have as did the doctors mistreatment (drugs, lifestyle restrictions etc).
