I totally understand the desire to secede, but it's not the path forward. There are numerous reasons why. Among them:

Who gets the nukes? We won't trust them with them and vice versa.

What about the other infrastructure? Do you just cut pipelines and other interconnected systems?

Why give up one square inch of American soil? It's our country and we aren't just going to cede territory to a vile enemy on our front porch.

Why do nukes matter? End of the day no-one will use them unless a first strike happens and even then by that point it doesn't even matter. We already have such a prosperous economy even with the federal leeches sapping our money, so even if we end up with none we can easily build our own in no time

Because the rest of the country is infected? And the 6th showed we're not willing to do what we knew we had to do in order to cleanse it? Therefore our only option is this. It isn't like we'll not be able to go anywhere we please either considering the Marxists will have full open boarder policies once they're put in charge of everything. It'll be the animals running the zoo

Your way guarantees a civil war. And they'd be the "official" government with the nuke codes. You don't think those people are insane enough to use 1 or 2 to intimidate people into compliance? They just used a fake virus to destroy our economy, and the prosperous ecnonomy you describe is a lot more fragile than the stock market portrays.

I don't think a real insurrection on 1/6 would have been helped our purposes either.

Giving up on Law and Order means you don't believe the Constitution is robust enough to stand up to this threat. I suggest it is. We've got legal solutions and the court of opinion continues to shift in our favor, which is important.

Give it time before looking for final solutions. Those options are always available after we've exhausted every peaceful solution.

"Legal solutions" went out the window the moment the courts decided that elections could now be rigged. This is the exact same rhetoric that led us into the shitshow that was the 6th. The media is controlled by Soros and his fellow pedos, the younger generation is brainwashed by globohomo, and social media is increasingly finding ways to remove any and all conservative voices. The only way out of this is to create our own spaces, our own communities, and to turn our backs on the parasites that have destroyed the fabric of this nation

You're not hearing all of my words. Your solutions will still be available to us after if the peaceful solutions fail.

I don't think they'll fail, and if I'm right we win a much bigger victory that taking your ball and going home.

Your way is defeatist. We only lose this if we lack the willpower to refuse to accept their heist.

Keep an open mind and an eye out for grass roots developments and other victories we've been winning across the country. This fight is far from over.

Honestly man until this coup gets undone (which we all know it won't) America is lost

I agree.

What I'm saying is that there are many paths to undoing the coup, and we are actively hammering on all fronts. It's slow grinding work, but not all is as the MSM portrays it to be.

Don't give up quite yet.

I can't imagine how but I hope so, this illegitimate reality sucks.

People will address those questions by open and public discussions. Why do you throw away an idea just because you don't know the answers to some of the things right now? So, you like a girl, and you wonder how you can ask her out, but you give up because you have a question you don't know how to answer to right now. You have a very strange way to look at a life.

One basic rule of online discussions is to not project your assumptions on someone absent evidence. Throwing insults is also pretty inane and I don't normally waste a bit of energy on people who do that.

I'm going to make an exception, because this is a learning opportunity.

"People will address those questions by open and public discussions."

We are talking about a messy divorce from a greedy and evil faction. Do you really see them wanting to have open and public discussions? I don't, so now you're stuck with "how can we force them to accept the divorce under our terms". I've seen no evidence that the Dems and their backers have any desire leaving us with anything. They want total power.

Where am I wrong there? This is the real world.

"Why do you throw away an idea just because you don't know the answers to some of the things right now? "

Several reasons.

A. I do know the answers to those questions, otherwise I wouldn't have asked them in the manner I did. The answers are that there is no solution to issues like this that both sides will agree upon. None. They don't compromise.

B. The one sure way to have them win is for our side to be divided. We've got some who want to start a 3rd party, and others (like me) looking to take over the GOP. Then you've got others like yourself who want secession. We'd like to have everyone on the same page instead of dividing.

So I'm hoping that if you see the impracticality of secession, you'll pitch in and help out in the more likely paths forward.

For the record, a third party is how I'd rather operate, but that's not viable in the time frame we have, so I've opted to go with the path with the greatest likelihoods of success, and that's to work within the existing structure of the GOP. We can change it into a MAGA party if all of us pitch in.

If you can respond without insults and bad assumptions, I'm interested in your response. If not, there's a block function which I've almost never had to use, but you only get one intellectually dishonest take with me. 2 strike rule.

You are assuming the basic rule. You are new here, which makes it very suspect. Some of us have been on T_D since 2015-2016. Your behavior falls into a strange one.

That's a pretty basic rule for polite discourse. And I'm not new to the internet.

I think this place is the best site I've been on. I love it here. Congrats on being part of it for so long. I wish I'd found it sooner.

It is still rude to project and calling someone a girl is hardly polite. I prefer polite and don't waste my time with those who aren't. Feel free to address my argument in the previous comment.
