Sam Cooke might not be the best example given the questionable story of his death/murder. It could just be an early version of #MeToo, but I guess we'll never know.

Sam Cooke died while in the process of trying to rape an underage girl. So, like many, he professed to believe in Christian values but he was an out of control, cruel, selfish hedonist.
