There are types of RNA called siRNA or miRNA that are known to silence certain genes, over expression of these RNAs can silence tumor suppressor genes. mRNA is what translates the gene to protein, it shouldn’t silence a gene.
My understanding is a piece of mRNA codes for creating a protein, and is destroyed in the creation process. It's a read-once chemical script.
It seems a big stretch to say he mRNA injection will "cause cancer". I think it has a lot of potentially bad effects, but causing cancer isn't likely to be one of them.
mRNA is not the enemy, same as calories are not bad.
