its 50 rep 50 dems, All dems will vote for it. That makes kamala the tie breaker. so it will pass. They may not even need her cause rinos. so it passes. then dems get everything they want forever. rep r weak n wont actually fight it (even though its to late now). dems will win every election from now on unopposed. and gain total control. u know how they are n where it goes after that. save urself n urs good luck
They need 60 votes to end debate before they're allowed to vote to pass.
If a single republican still has a spine they can filibuster it for 4 years.
google it, its 51, unless its tied then the VP tiebreaks. dems changed the rule, then when reps had a chance to fix it they never did. now it will end the republicans and the republic. even if that was still true u think the rinos and rep would b able to fight it. yeah, make plans to help ur loved ones
It's only simple majority on budget reconciliation and federal appointments.
For regular legislation, 60 votes are still needed to forcibly end debate before the bill gets voted on.
The Democrats have a few dissenters. Joe Manchin for example. I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion but I do think we definitely need to pressure everyone to vote against it
Manchin wants to pass it
