The entire federal government is the swamp. The elites are just the alligators that swim in it. If somehow trump ends up winning 2024 (a big if) , each and every federal employee will stonewall him even more blatantly and with a stronger motivation and commitment. In other words the tide has turned for this country, for good. Will need to get a lot lot worse before it gets any better.
