Static clip lets you have forward and pistol grip, adjustable stock and "muzzle device" without classifying as assault weapon. That is why I opted for it.

This same law that affects us in NY, called the NYSAFE Act, is the very blue print the Democrats will be pushing shortly, right after HR1.
