It's ironic since the real Commies in Russia (Kapersky) aren't even blocking this. (AFAIK).
Name a replacement then. All of the big ones are heading that way. I've had issues with Bitdefender and Avira. Norton has been shit for years and anyone that thinks to trust the built in microsoft "anti-virus" is moronic. The number of actually good anti-virus programs is tiny.
That was not my question, nor does it come anywhere close to answering the point I raised. You saying, "just delete those two and then use an entirely different OS" is not going to help anyone that is not able to do that for a variety of reasons.
Let's take my situation. I'm not able to do "99%" of my work on a browser and I still have to use certain programs that aren't easily compatible with Linux and which caused a whole host of issues the last time I tried. "Sucks to be you then" is about all I get from you in that regard because you aren't in that situation. That's part of why I've had to rotate through several anti-virus programs and even the paid versions are all turning to shit.
