The EO includes
using federal agencies to promote voter registration;
using federal agencies to inform Americans about voting;
linking federal agency websites to state voter registration websites;
providing voter registration and vote-by-mail applications;
using “approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations” to register voters at federal agencies;
using identification documents issued by the agency to help people register to vote; providing more multilingual services to potential voters;
giving public employees “time off to vote in Federal, State, local, Tribal, and territorial elections”; and promoting voter registration for federal prisoners.
"Among OECD countries besides the United States, the report states that 78% of the countries either do not allow mail-in ballots "for people living in the country" or require a photo ID to get a mail-in ballot. In the EU, 85% of countries either bar mail-in ballots for people not living abroad or require a photo ID for such a ballot, according to the report. "
We are the only fucking retards in the good ole' USA that have loosened voting laws by adding mail in ballots.

Excellent statistics! I'm also pushing the argument that mail-in-ballots is the big problem. These are not peoples votes, but mysterious papers. Thanks for the statistics. This needs to be pushed as much as possible by everyone!
What we need is sequentially numbered paper mark-sense ballots that are allotted to each precinct in advance based on historical voter turnout.
Perhaps that could work, else good idea is just keeping the election as simple as possible. Have people vote in person, like they do in most other countries. Especially important is that people vote in the same way so the votes are managed in the same way. You don't want to have Republicans voting in person and Democrats voting by mail-in ballots. That is a recipe for unequal treatment. Also, the more abstraction you can remove from the process the better. You want the average Joe to be able to understand and verify the voting himself, and not have to rely on "experts", politicians or the media.
