From what is reported, the airplane is the least likely place to get sick. Not sure how they actually make that claim.

Anyway, I’m very familiar with the UV systems and they only kill the virus that passes over the light being emitted. The viral load that gets on surfaces after some dude picks his nose or some kid picks his ass is still totally viable at infecting others.

You will never get rid of a virus en total. Never gonna happen.
