I have a friend who is trans, he/she is completely triggered af by this, lol. I'm like, hey - regardless of my orientation, I have nothing against trans. You add more to the pool, and remove competition. I may not be interested, but overall it kind of helps me. I keep trying to tell him/her that the trans have pissed off the feminists and that the feminists are baaaadd. Doesn't seem to get it. He/she is like - I'm a feminist. Trying to tell him/her that a lot of feminists don't see it that way... The cognitive dissonance involved in realizing that these people you're going so far to emulate and you so respect and want to be - will watch you die a slow agonizing emotionally and physically painful death, and laugh about it - must be nearly impossible to overcome.
