I tend to tell people apart by height, weight, hair color/style and notable physical characteristics (such as build, jawline, neck thickness, and scars). I actually mistook a random woman at my son's daycare for his teacher (same height, hair color and length). It's pretty disturbing and frequently embarrassing, actually.
