I have prosopagnosia (face blindness) due to a head injury when I was a teen. So no, actually. I can't differentiate faces. It could be a famous murderer, hero, or my uncle for all I know. I tend to tell people apart by height, weight, hair color/style and notable physical characteristics (such as build, jawline, neck thickness, and scars). I actually mistook a random woman at my son's daycare for his teacher (same height, hair color and length). It's pretty disturbing and frequently embarrassing, actually.
