Shit 15 an hour jobs or less are for kids or adults who are on hard times. Either way this is a temporary thing and it has its place. If you want a better job either work to make your career happen or just go on craigslist and look at the other options. There are plenty of jobs better than 15/hour if you are willing to do the work. Seriously.
While perhaps a flippant remark, you don't deserve the downvotes. There ARE better paying jobs out there, but they're in fields most of you probably never thought to look into. Construction. Plumbing. Electrical work. Hell, working on an oil rig. There's lots of jobs out there that pay damn sure more than $15/hr... but you have to be willing to tolerate heavy lifting. Fuck, even Amazon pays at least $18/hr for drivers in most areas... $20 in some of the metro areas. That might not exactly be an ideal job, but it's a paying gig and proves the point.
