Labeling people [insert political tag here] and executing them is really not a long term solution for getting out of and staying out of Third World Hell Hole status. In order to get out of and stay out of that status you have to have the consistent application of ethical rule of law.
We have been lamenting the legal break down in this country for decades now and so I don't think it is wise to cheer its natural conclusion in other countries even when it seems kind of appealing on a visceral level.
And besides all that, I don't know enough about the actual political climate of the Philippines and doubt there are many people here who are intimately familiar with it. And if there are some, I'd like to hear a much more complete picture before getting on any cheer wagon.
