I’m fiscally conservative but some of you are just as extreme as the left when it comes to politics. While I agree that implementing 15 bucks overnight would be a disaster; I also don’t agree that $7 should be the minimum wage for any fucking human. I’ve literally seen people here shill for doctors who make 300k on average per year.

I started out as a waitress, then a dishwasher in restaurants. Then I moved up to a slightly above minimum wage factory job, then I hit the big time and went to an automotive parts factory making big bucks. Then during the 2008-2009 Banking crisis, after 10 years with my good job, I lost it along with millions of other factory workers during that time. I went to college for a degree to become a Medical Coder (lmao) which didn't happen and became a secretary aka office administrative assistant which didn't pay crap and I had medical insurance with a $6000 deductible. My husband told me to quit and stay home. He said it just wasn't worth it and that he'd take care of me. I now babysit my grandchildren while their parents work. Pays pretty good and the benefits of seeing them everyday are great.
