How come nobody wants to take President Trump's vaccine?

President Trump made the creation of this vaccine the central focus of his last year in office, but now nobody wants to take the vaccine. Why not?

Its experimental...The long term effects are not known yet. You seem to think people here will do whatever Trump says, or recommends... If Trump endorses Mitch Mconnell, you think the people here will be voting for him? This isn't the same base as blue no matter who....

Edit - Forgot to say the survival rate is 99.98 percent...
