Only for some. Those of us working ‘essential’ industries, specifically grocery stores had to fight not to become headcases, fighting the constant urge to buy when we’d get stock in because of the empty shelves. I’ve never had such a hard time staying sane as this past year. Fighting with my baser instincts, then all the election mind games..

I honestly hope I never have a year like this past one ever again.

I’m right there with you. I spiraled out of control with constant work due to WFH and being isolated and stress eating. I went from fully stocked but now I can’t leave anything in the house. I can’t find the right balance in my life anymore. I don’t think I’ve had a decent night sleep in months so I’m either jacked up on caffeine or completely burnt. I wish I had any motivation to work out when things feel so bleak. But this week I’m trying to turn it all around.

I wish you all the luck. I’ve had a couple false starts, so if you fall, just remember you don’t really fail until you stop trying
