I live in NY. I legit only know 2 conservatives who are my 2 out of 4 best friends. That's all. My other friends are lefties, my customers are, and so my coworkers and boss. These ppl mock conservatives and their views, most without knowing i am one.. I noticed they have no goddamn idea what I believe in. They don't actually know what I stand for, save for what the news tells them.
Something else I realized; these ppl believe so deeply in their views and how virtuous they are. They so fully believe that they're right, and that their ideas are inherently righteous. If you disagree you must be wrong. Some ppl if u disagree just turn to violence.
I guess the point is, all this leftist influence makes me have to ground myself in reality. It makes me think if all these ppl believe this how can they be right? There's no one on my side, no one thinks the way I do. It makes me a bit sad to see it. I have to remember to ground in reality, and remember what i know to be true: That there are millions of ppl in this country, amd even all over the world who stand with me.
You must live in NYC or in a college town. I'm up in the Finger Lakes region and there are way more conservatives than liberals. But for as red as central NY is, you get in college towns, like Ithaca, they have gone full retard. A lot of old woman are also retarded. My mother is one of them. Her ONLY reason for not voting for Trump is because he was a mean person in her eyes. She didn't look at policy one bit. But then again my mother is as old as dirt and suffering from a bit of dementia. So I'm not going to start any battles with her. She doesn't have a long time left on this planet and I'm not interested in disowning her or vice-versa for what time she has left.
But she was also a huge Cuomo fan. I went to see her over the weekend and I brought him up. She said "I don't even want to talk about that pig". LOL! I told her it proves you can judge a book by its cover. Then we talked about non-political things.
