I live in NY. I legit only know 2 conservatives who are my 2 out of 4 best friends. That's all. My other friends are lefties, my customers are, and so my coworkers and boss. These ppl mock conservatives and their views, most without knowing i am one.. I noticed they have no goddamn idea what I believe in. They don't actually know what I stand for, save for what the news tells them.
Something else I realized; these ppl believe so deeply in their views and how virtuous they are. They so fully believe that they're right, and that their ideas are inherently righteous. If you disagree you must be wrong. Some ppl if u disagree just turn to violence.
I guess the point is, all this leftist influence makes me have to ground myself in reality. It makes me think if all these ppl believe this how can they be right? There's no one on my side, no one thinks the way I do. It makes me a bit sad to see it. I have to remember to ground in reality, and remember what i know to be true: That there are millions of ppl in this country, amd even all over the world who stand with me.
You're problem is that you're still thinking of the Nazis as the bad guys.
Maybe they were, but they were fighting the greatest evil humanity has ever dreamed, communism... that'll make sane people do crazy things.
You should be about the Kulaks and what happened to them and how it wasn't a top down action, but the people driven to rape women and children, en masse, murdering the men and then starving because they'd eradicated all the farmers.
Understand "Kulak privilege" (yes, a real term the Marxists used) and you'll understand the current situation and you'll understand what the Nazis were fighting and why our leftist education system and our leftist hollywood has told the story the way they have.
I'm not a Nazi and I'm not saying the Nazis are good... But not were they evil, just people who stared down the absolute worst of humanity and fought back with rabid, uncontrolled desperation.
Yet, the evil they did in slaughtering Jews, Gypsies, and any person that did not match the criterion for the Perfect Aryan, places the Nazis firmly in the evil camp.
The Nazis and the Communists are two of the greatest evils foisted upon the world, and both are competing for the same audience for State Worship. That they fought each other with great ferocity, each thinking the other was Satan himself, is a testament of how truly bereft of good each were.
Did they?
Did you know that the Soviets ran "The Great Purge" where still wiped out the Bolsheviks, most of whom were Jewish.
Shortly after, WW2 happened and as a matter of dumb luck, every single death camp, was captured by the Soviets and not by the Americans.
Did you know that the Soviets, never signed the Geneva conventions and we're thus isolated from American POWs by the Germans. Odd that such murderous Nazis would sign such a treaty and then honor it.
Did you further know that Soviets, captured by the Nazis and recovered at the end of the war, were thrown into GULAGs? Their exposure to something other than communism made them untrustworthy.
You put way too much faith in your leftist education.
Try reading about the German civil war and see where that gets you.
If you're really bored... Have a look at those holocaust statistics:
https://www.jta.org/2017/01/31/united-states/remember-the-11-million-why-an-inflated-victims-tally-irks-holocaust-historians
Then have a look at Google's ngram tool, a fun one is "Gulag Archipelago" and "holocaust".
I don't claim to have answers, but a lot of shit that American public schools and hollywood have told me, turned out to be a pile of lies and now we're up to our eyeballs in postmodernists and I don't think that is a coincidence.
Edited: notice the downvotes on my other comment, for even daring to question the narrative. Leftists enjoyed a monopoly on violence in the 20th century.
Even if all of what you say is true, we can obviously put commies and nazis both firmly in the evil camp. Patriots fought and died in wars against both. Nazis don't deserve rose colored glasses
