If I live to be 74 in August, I will have outlived everyone else in my family. I worked for 25 years in uniform in New York State's prisons, came into contact with thousands of staff members, convicts, their visitors, and the scumbag Administrators from Albany, during all those years. I was working in Auburn prison in the early 80's when AIDS came to light, and the drug-resistant strain of TB was infecting prisoners, and took the life of one of my fellow officers. Not during any of those 25 years, did I ever contract anything from anyone. Since I've gotten older, I've had my own health issues to deal with, but why in the hell would I complicate my life, and possibly even end it, by taking a vaccine that nobody truly knows anything about? I'd rather rely on my own immune system, and the Lord.
