If your still using Netflix at this point your part of the problem

31
RedPilledRaven 31 points ago +32 / -1

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Amazon too. I’m sure I missed about 300 other companies but I think these are the easiest to give up.

One of my local pawn shops sells DVDs cheap. I've bought movies I've seen in stores with a $50-new sticker-price for $1. (I care little for Hollywood "product," my wife is the movie-watcher.)

Buying DVD/CD movies/albums is an excellent way to stick it to Big "Music" and I highly recommend it whenever possible. You are not "hurting" the "artists" by doing this, buying DVDs/CDs new mostly benefits the movie studio/record company (the "artist" gets very little of that money, the writer(s) get a bigger pie-piece.)

Member around the time of the Napster flap, when Garth Brooks decreed that record-stores that sell "used albums" should not be allowed to stock his crappy new-at-the-time album? His claim was that sales of "used albums" were cutting into his massive wealth. (The truth was: that generic album sucked just like the rest of his generic albums, and he had alienated fans with his "Chris Gaines" attempted money-grab.) As a marketing major, he should have known how economics work: a shoddy "product" over-priced at $1 will sell better than the same shoddy "product" massively over-priced at $19.99. As a wealthy Limousine Liberal "entertainer" with a fake persona he displayed typical contempt for his audience, who he knows statistically skew to the less-affluent: his focus was on profit, not "getting his music out there." The only way he cared about his music "getting out there" was at Full Retail Price.

go to your local library and rent them for free

2
GODwins76 2 points ago +2 / -0

public anything is never free

MAGAforDAYZ 6 points ago +6 / -0

True. But I may as well be getting my money's worth.

GODwins76 0 points ago +1 / -1

then privatize your local library then

5
BigIronBigIron 5 points ago +6 / -1

Congratulations, you just invented the book store

1
T_WIN_2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Taxes. We already pay for it.

1
GODwins76 1 point ago +1 / -0

Aren't we borrowing money from everybody?

My private library has banned books, and actual history instead of state sponsored. Would you actually trust people to "work for you"? Gross.

Cancelled Netflix after Cuties, don't miss it. After a few months it was hard to find anything to watch there anyway. I think they spend a lot on new content, but it was all garbage.

T_WIN_2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

FrozenEagle 58 points ago +59 / -1

I hate to be the nitpicker here, but would it kill the people who make these image-texts to check their work for typos and spelling before releasing it into the wild?

It's "Seuss", not "Suess".

People will pay attention to a properly-spelled message as they suggest an intelligent person wrote it, but a badly-spelled message gets ignored and dismissed because it suggests a monkey bashed the keyboard.

The importance of the message does not give spelling errors a free pass to exist. Remember, if you do not correct your typos, the errorists win.

10
MichelesPenis 10 points ago +10 / -0

I know an impassioned post riddled with spelling errors and poor grammar, makes me question if I even care. I guess it's muh white privilege.

6
Donttreadonme16 6 points ago +6 / -0

Kinda like how the top comment in this thread misuses "your" twice in one sentence?

2
oakley 2 points ago +2 / -0

HI: Thank-you for mentioning the importance of spelling here. It's really bad here, IMO.

2
glasses2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's also blatantly wrong. There's no nudity.

1
Waffleyumboy 1 point ago +1 / -0

Is sexualization not as bad as nudity?

1
djcalligraphy 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's not good either way, but we should be posting stuff that is true, not made up crap that we can't share because of it. The message would have been the same if they didn't add the lie at the end, and it might make people actually think. But now, it just makes people argue about how it's not even true.

1
climatestatis 1 point ago +1 / -0

There's a 1/2 second shot of a white girl exposing a breast, can't remember the context but it was in a dancing scenario. Maybe 13 years old. Other than that you're correct (at least in the first half I bothered to watch).

ChilledCovfefe 33 points ago +35 / -2

I don't think there was any nudity but it was close

23
GnuYow 23 points ago +26 / -3

Yeah, as much as this film was garbage there was no underage nudity. We need to get our facts straight when we post stuff like this.

12
MeesterNeusbaum86 12 points ago +12 / -0

There was an 18 year old portraying a younger girl that pulled her shirt up and flashed a tit

2
aoneleggedduck 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah this situation is ultra-shitty so far as I'm concerned. I mean think about it this way, if a 16 year old was shown nude but "was playing an 18 year old" that excuse wouldn't fly--it would still be child porn. Even if the viewer was led to believe everything was legit/ok, it would still be wrong. Now reverse the direction, and have someone who is of age be depicted as someone who is a minor, showing nudity, and that's supposed to be ok? No, the woman isn't legally a minor but the viewer believes she is. This is a messed up situation.

That movie is trash all around and everyone involved in its production, publication, marketing, and release should be ashamed.

1
EggOfDelusion 1 point ago +1 / -0

Have you ever seen American Beauty?

1
penguinjay1212 1 point ago +1 / -0

The actress was 20 years old when that came out and was depicting a highschool senior we can assume is 17 or 18 years old.

1
EggOfDelusion 1 point ago +1 / -0

She was 16...

1
GODwins76 1 point ago +1 / -0

The meme is still incorrect. It says that she is underage, not depicting an underage.

"But, but, but, muh...excuses"...that are illogical, hate-filled, and down right stupid.

14
Schiffblower 14 points ago +14 / -0

They don’t give a shit. They’ve think won the culture war and they might be right when you read this post and really think about it

10
Knight1_of_Sunset 10 points ago +11 / -1

Let them THINK they won. Just because they THINK something's one way does not mean it is ACTUALLY true.

Remember, if they have to censor and use their big tech power and cheat to win, then that means truth is not on their side and they know it, and they are losing the war against truth.

12
Hutchy1989 12 points ago +12 / -0

They say that it wasn't cancelled, it was the company that decided to stop making the books.

How did they come to that decision and why now?

Why are there book burning events?

Why are people trying the get libraries to remove the books?

Why are they not allowed to be sold on ebay (I'm sure there are or will be others soon)

8
War_Hamster 8 points ago +8 / -0

They came to that decision because a few Social Justice majors, living in Mom's basement with nothing better to do, scoured through a bunch of Children's books just looking for something to be outraged about. They released their "findings" and some woke Seuss heiress decided to virtue signal.

5
Hutchy1989 5 points ago +5 / -0

I do hope people aren't panic buying all the other books and are instead boycotting them for virtue signaling

5
TermLimits 5 points ago +5 / -0

The cancel mob is about power and control. That is why Biden's sexual assault is ignored and Cuomo is now under fire for sexual harassment.

4
fthecoup 4 points ago +4 / -0

America is finished at this point.

Zhongda 4 points ago +4 / -0

How many more test runs do these pedophiles need to do before people wake up.

Yes, I am unfortunately aware that communists desire this to happen so very badly.

No, I will not feel bad when a father loses the last grips on sanity and starts handing out free dirtnap cards.

3
Donkeyballs 3 points ago +3 / -0

Cuties is up for an Oscar. Those disgusting pigs.

3
DonaldStump 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think even some mild lefties got redpilled. In fact. It was the only common ground divided households had.

Anyone who watched it should be legally reported by Netflix and the FBI and put on the sex offender registar.

2
cookiesforsale 2 points ago +2 / -0

Makes perfect sense to me

2
SkeletorsTeeth 2 points ago +2 / -0

AcTuALlY they weren't nude....at least i dont think they were as I've never watched it....but highly sexualized yes

2
Dreyvius 2 points ago +2 / -0

Should say is instead of was. It's still there

2
goldkeyboardwarrior 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is a little misleading to say that there was a movie called Cuties on there.

That’s because it’s still there; Netflix rode out the outrage and kept it in place.

1
SuddenlyClintoned 1 point ago +1 / -0

It didn't show underage girls nude. It showed an adult actor ACTING the part of an underage girl undressing.

Which is actually worse, because it means there's laws protecting such imagery from being created... And they created the dumbest possible workaround to sexualize children.

1
glasses2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

It didn't show them nude, but showed them in ballet / dance attire dancing sexually.

1
Lykanthrocide 1 point ago +1 / -0

Didn't know there was nudity in the film. The "dancing" was bad enough.

1
virgule 1 point ago +1 / -0

Objection. There’s no « we » here.

1
Orneryoldgoat 1 point ago +1 / -0

Funny how the Looney libtards are freaking the fuck out about Dr Suess, Mr Potato Head, etc. and must cancel and erase from history. Yet liberal Hollywood continues to push out garbage programming that gets worse every year. The way they're going we'll have 8pm shows with non stop swearing and sex with a suitable for all ages rating.

1
Brethern123 1 point ago +1 / -0

HammerFall 1 point ago +1 / -0

I haven’t watched Netflix since that came out, and won’t while they still promote such filth.

Sucks since I want to rewatch The Witcher, but gotta make a stand somewhere, even if it’s small.

I fear nothing anymore. Learn to pirate or stream with a VPN. I've even forgot to use the VPN sometimes and get flagged for pirating some big companies shit, that I usually buy later on if I like the product. It results in a letter from my ISP, and it literally can't amount to anything because an internet connection is not proof that you "stole" anything. The legal case for that is nearly impossible for prosecution, so you get those mailed letters trying to scare you.

I'm not advocating for pirating whatever software or media you like, just saying it's more of a fear based tactic than anything real. Remember those videos of old women getting beat up and their purse stolen, equating it to piracy? Propaganda because they couldn't prosecute no matter how hard they want to.

1
TNVol 1 point ago +1 / -0

It was a final straw for me cancel Netflix after 12 years with them, and I told them exactly why...Cuties plus the Obama contract, plus the Harry/Meghan contract.

1
Aambrick 1 point ago +1 / -0

I will just be straight honest. At this point if they do not change then all consequences should be fully theirs in every aspect.

They pervert life, and I was honestly hoping they would change. Let God sort them out now because I am all out of mercy and restraint in holding back.

1
PatriotsVsCommies 1 point ago +1 / -0

I've become almost free of Big-Tech, besides the fact that I still use an Apple product. I'm trying to get my family off of Netflix and Disney+ but they're hooked on it. T.V. has grown to be too big a part of some people's lives.

I canceled Netflix after that happened and won't be subscribing to them again until Netflix deletes that atrocity from their platform... assuming they have anything worth it.

And I'll sail the seas for anything they put out of note until that time. Same goes for Disney+ while Kathleen Kennedy remains at Lucasfilm.

1
krakah293 1 point ago +1 / -0

Is it still on Netflix?

1
axrevolutionai 1 point ago +2 / -1

I watched the whole movie. It's actually a brilliant condemnation of Islam but the director herself is so brainwashed she doesn't realize what she put to film. Those children were not hypersexualized. They had no idea what they were doing. The dance training scene gives it away. Robotic, stiff movements, breaking into giggles at the absurdity of it all, they might as well have been playing big booty at a church camp

When the lead character pushed harder and tried to up the ante by making dances more risque, the other girls backed away. They didn't want to do strip club moves, they just wanted to dance. They pushed the lead girl out when she turned it into something dangerous.

To the other girls it was a hobby, to the MC it was a way out of metaphorical prison, so of course she'd do things the other girls never would including assault and theft. Signal > noise and none of you get it. The movie is an outright rebuttal of islam and religions that portray women as unclean.

At the end of the movie, the MC's mom admits her daughter still has a chance to get out. The whole movie is about freedom and how far even a child would be willing to go for it

Dancing is only like 10% of the movie and the last scene shows the audience in disgust (mirroring the response from both leftist and conservatives to the movie) There is not a single bit of sex appeal in the movie, not even by accident. The girls always look awkward and depressed. It's not porn.

****Let's not forget in the midst of a hoax pandemic and the left plotting voter fraud, the most brilliant conservative minds and talking heads were busy reeeeeing over Cuties. They literally blinded most all right leaning folk into virtue signaling over a direct to streaming movie while literal tyranny and corruption was happening world wide

1
Reddit_is_for_cucks 1 point ago +2 / -1

Fuck context, it shows underage girls twerking. You can put whatever dressing you want around it, that content is still in the movie, doesn't matter if it's 1% of the movie, the fact that it's there at all in any context is sickening.
